Automatic dispensing unit for syringes The unit allows a completely automatic dispensing of radiopharmaceuticals into syringes without any intervention of the operator. It can be installed in every laminar flow hot cell with suitable dimensions and in particular in our vertical laminar flow shielded cells Mod. DMC1-VF/DDS and DMC3-VF/DDS. The use of a cartesian axis robot specific for clean rooms avoid the use of slides, carousels and actuators, granting an easy and effective cleaning and decontamination of all surfaces. The system allows to carry out automatically: measurement of the activity sent by the synthesis module; dilution with saline; syringe filling with required activity (or volume); control through dose calibrator of the activity dispensed into each syringe; check of the syringe in delivery through bar code reading; syringe delivery together with protective plastic liner inside the shielded container through a double-door duct (ball valves) with minimal volume, without altering the cell sterility. A second peristaltic pump allows a second independent dilution of each syringe; this possibility is particularly useful in case of dispensing of syringes to be used internally (dilution personalisation depending on the hour of injection). PC and SW, LCD monitor, dose calibrators and printer for lead containers labels are included in the supply. More Information (PDF)	Click for a larger view
