With the highest visibility and safety of any vial shield, this family of vial
shields offers an excellent shield for safe viewing of the activity volume
contained in a vial. The lead glass shields are designed with removable twistlock
or lift-off tops that make cleaning and needle insertion easy. The
automatic centering action insures that the vial is always perfectly aligned for
extra safety and convenience. Shields are available in a number of
configurations including a special system for complete shielding of the vial
and the syringe, during the aspiration of the radiopharmaceutical.
