Modular-Lab Analytical Equipment
Equipment for your quality control - an analytical HPLC (High Pressure Liquid Chromatography) and a TLC (Thin Layer Chromatography). Both, the HPLC-Module and the TLC-Module, can be directly connected to any already existing Modular-Lab system and are fully controlled by and integrated into the Modular-Lab software. The Modular-Lab analytical HPLC-Module is the easy and low-cost possibility for HPLC-analyses of radiopharmaceuticals. By focusing on radiopharmaceuticals the setup is smaller and less expensive than a commercial full scale analytical HPLC. Various analysis processes for the most used radiopharmaceuticals are programmed and tested by Eckert & Ziegler Eurotope GmbH. Here a pre-validated system is available or a customized validation of a process can be performed. So a fully functional system for a defined application is ready-to-use and there is no need to setup procedures. The multi functionality of the system allows routine analysis for PET tracers based on the nuclides F-18, C-11, Ga-68 and also for beta emitting nuclides as Y-90 or Lu-177. The HPLC-system consists of the new Eckert & Ziegler Modular-Lab analytical HPLC-Module with activity detector, a pump, a UV- or RI-detector and an online degasser from Knauer and a HPLC-column. The setup has all necessary components for an application that is all controlled by the Modular-Lab software. Instead of a setup with equipment from different vendors with different software, we can provide a solution with one single software and with all data of the synthesis and analysis in the same type of batch protocol (even in the same protocol possible). The TLC-Module can also easily be added to any Modular-Lab system and also in this case the system allows routine analysis for PET tracers based on the nuclides F-18, C-11, Ga-68 and also for beta emitting nuclides as Y-90 or Lu-177. The activity measurement and the shielding of the detectors for both HPLC- and TLC-Modules are optimized to the intended use (i.e. 511keV) to give a maximum signal to noise ratio. For many tracers now the quality control of radiopharmaceuticals by HPLC- and TLC-analysis is available with Modular-Lab, but also customized solutions for your analytical problems can be developed. Ready-to-go routines, tested and validated (also with PQ at site) are installed and with the easy to learn software the operators can well handle the system after the included training.
